Other ways to help

There are lots of additional ways to help us financially, which needn’t cost you anything but will help build or renovate homes for those living in poverty round the world:

Ebay

Habitat for Humanity has teamed up with eBay for Charity and their charity partner Missionfish to enable you to buy and sell items on eBay whilst supporting Habitat for Humanity.

The recently relaunched eBay for Charity website is now more user friendly than ever before allowing visitors to manage all their eBay for Charity activities from their 'My eBay' in the Donations Account tab without needing a separate account with MissionFish.

Buyers can shop for items knowing they’re supporting a good cause, be it an everyday bargain or a special auction. Sellers, whether they’re individuals or businesses, can donate a percentage from any sale to a charity and add Gift Aid to their donations. (Sellers should choose the Advanced Sell form.)

In addition, all eBay for Charity items will qualify for a fee credit on basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage donated. The minimum donation has also been lowered from £2 to only £1 per listing.

So why not buy or sell an item in aid of Habitat for Humanity today?
